Arianna Taft who lives in Rhode Island has been always on the bright side, same as her favourite Disney princesses.
Although this 5 year old little girl is fighting over an aggressive form of cancer, each challenge has been faced with a smile, inspiring her dad, Ryan daily. This little girl is specially deserved to feel the princess despite all her sufferings. We should be grateful to photographer Ashley Richer, for giving what she deserves.
Ashley has been providing free photo shoots for two years to the kids, suffering from cancer in memory of Lia, her son’s 1 year old friend who died of cancer. Ashley, herself is too a patient who deals with her own medical problems due to the complications of carotid artery and TIA strokes.
She stated, “I see now that all of that happened so that I can be here today helping to bring magic to these kid’s lives.”
Nothing could make Aranna more amazed, than a princess photoshoot!
Arianna had been diagnosed with a 13-centimetre tumour in her kidney this year. Even though the tumour and the kidney were removed by a surgery, doctors had been able to find out that the cancer had spread all over the other kidney and also the lungs, liver and lymph nodes. She has lost her hair since then, due to chemotherapy and treatments of radiation.
When Ashley came to know about Arianna from one of her clients, she planned out the best way to keep the innocent smile of the little one. Little Arianna posed in front of a green screen dressed up as the princesses of Disney; Belle, Snow white, Merida and her favorite Elsa.
Ashley had worked on editing soon after the shoot, in order to get the magical effect of life with a background to suit each Disney movie. The results were amazingly wonderful since Arianna’s beauty and strength were captured in spite of her disease.
“To see her dressed as her favorite magical princess and all the other ones is just incredible,” Ryan shared with People. “I look at the photos and I know it’s Ari, I know it’s my daughter, but it literally looks like she could be starring in her own movie, which is just super special and amazing.”
“You hear cancer and you think all the bad things that are associated with it, but… she hasn’t allowed a single day to be difficult. You can’t look at her and see what she’s going through and not feed off of that strength.” he added. “She’s just representative of being beautiful and bald can be a Disney princess, and she’s loving every minute of it.”
Furthermore, a new beauty, Belle was seen in town. It was the best thing deserved by the little one. Even though the things are hard at this time of her life, she has a lot more to be delighted with an innocent smile which included a tour to San Diego Zoo with a courtesy of A Wish Come True. You too can support the little girl’s family by donating.
