Quarantine process, social distancing and the lockdown of the main cities and countries around the world due to COVID-19 have resulted in a great collapse in the nature of world history.

The significant incidents in Italy such as the drastic drop of Nitrogen Dioxide pollution to swans and dolphins coming back to the canals of Venice in Italy describe the change of nature due to the absence of human interference in mother nature.

According to the Facebook page of Epicalyptic a group of 14 elephants had roamed in a village in  Yunnan, China searching for corn and some other food. The elephants ended their journey to find food by drinking 30kgs of corn wine. These 14 elephants were at last found lying sleeping after having a good drink at a nearby tea garden. Well how funny the faces were with adorable smiles planted over them.

They said in the page, “While humans carry out social distancing, a group of 14 elephants broke into a village in the Yunnan province, looking for corn and other food. They ended up drinking 30kgs of corn wine and got so drunk that they fell asleep in a nearby tea garden.”

Unfortunately the smiles which appear in the faces of these drunken elephants are the worst results of the destruction of forests and wildlife. Therefore we still need to work hard to reforest and make their natural habitats. As you know these animals, especially the elephants, always explore the villages to find food. The hunger of these poor elephants as well as the other elephants are the real effects of deforestation.

Hence, as much as isolation from society is helping, we need to pay more attention in this special case. Thus we have to plant more and more trees. We must stop unnecessary constructions. People must reuse and repurpose the abandoned projects.

Maybe the Covid-19 outbreak gives a simple sign of awareness to stop the unnecessary and harmful things which humans have done to the planet.
