Polished but also energetic, the magnificent oeuvre of Russian photographer Andy Seliverstoff features the two his colossal talents and his genuine emotional spot for dogs. From quick-paced action photographs to photographs taken on different seasons, his pup centric portfolio includes a bunch photoshoot of his four-legged companions. Also, in his latest collection ‘Little Kids and their Big Dogs‘ – the youngsters that adore them.
Set in the outside, the charming set of photographs shows a beautiful adventure of genuine connections among dogs and their little human companions. In certain shots, the small tots and their titanic companions sit discreetly, looking into the faraway sceneries or affectionately taking a gander at one another. In others, the energetic pairs are demonstrated hopping, skipping, and moving in piles of leaves and newly fallen snow. Furthermore, in a couple of especially heart touching pictures, the kids are caught cuddling up to their canine buddies. Regardless of the connection, the sweet scenes exhibit the unbreakable bond and delightful friendship among kids and their protective pets.
While capturing the delicate giants, Seliverstoff strived to both customize and personify them by featuring their remarkable characteristics. “I always take plenty of time with the dog who’s in front of my camera so I get to know the personality of my dog model the best I can,” Seliverstoff reports on his website. “The personality and the character are unique for every individual dog. The human aspects we often recognize in our dogs are, among other things, what makes us feel so close to them. And it is this aspect I try to express in my photography.”
Seliverstoff has made up his series of adorable photos into a book, suitably titled ‘Little Kids and Their Big Dogs’.
